Introduction

COMPONENTS OF A COMPUTER

Every computer system has the following three basic components.

1)Input unit

e.g. keyboard, mouse, touchscreen, barcode reader

2)Central Processing Unit- It execute instructions in response to commands.

3)Output unit

e.g. Monitors, screens, printers and speakers

COMPUTER HARDWARE

Hardware refer to the components that we can see and touch.

Hardware also includes input devices, output devices, storage devices and communication devices.

COMPUTER  SOFTWARE

Software is the set of program that makes the hardware work.

Software tell the computer what to do and how to do it.

Note : Class test of Chapter "Browsing the internet" will be conducted on Thursday(23/7/2020)
