    Qa)   Describe Pushkar. 

    Ans.  Pushkar is a small desert town in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. It is surrounded by hills in three directions and one side extends to the golden sands of the Thar Desert. There are many lakes in Pushkar. 

    Qb)  When is the Pushkar Fair held? What is the main focus of the fair? 

    Ans.  The Pushkar Fair is held between late October and early November every year. The main focus of this fair is the camel trade. 

    Qc)   Where is the Savitri temple located? How can people reach it? 

    Ans.   The Savitri temple is located on top of the Ratnagiri Hill. People can reach it by climbing to the top of the hill or they can also take the ropeway. 

     Qd) What do the devotees do in Pushkar Lake? Why?

   Ans.  Devotees bathe in the Pushkar (Sarovar) Lake. It is believed that taking a dip in the sacred water of the lake will lead to healing.
