Revision of Mountain 

Valley - A valley is a low area of land between hills or mountain.

Plateau - A plateau is a flat topped land rising from the surrounding area. It is also known as tableland.

It may have one or more sides with steep slopes. The Tibetan Plateau is the highest plateau of the world and also known as Roof of the World. The Deccan Plateau of India is one of the oldest plateau of the world.


HOMEWORK-

Answer the following questions- (Write in your notebook)

Q1. Which is the highest plateau of the world?

Ans - The Tibetan Plateau
